eBay, Inc. (“eBay”) is dedicated to hosting events that empower our users and celebrate our community.  All eBay Open (the “Event”) attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors and partners, (collectively “Participants”)  are required to adhere to the following Code of Conduct. 

Participants must register for the Event and provide an email address or phone number where they can be reached during the Event. Failure to register, provide such contact, or be available via the contact provided during the Event may result in disconnection from the Event without further notice or process.

Be considerate and respectful in your speech and actions.  Do not engage in demeaning or  discriminatory behavior or speech. The use of obscenities and display of lewd images are considered grounds for dismissal from the Event.  

Participants who engage in any harassment or discrimination based on citizenship, ethnicity, gender, mental and physical ability, political affiliation, religion, sex, or sexual orientation will be dismissed from the Event.  

Respect everyone’s privacy.  Don’t record or post photographs or videos from the Event without the prior permission of the individuals or content featured therein.

Do not attempt to harass or intimidate fellow attendees. Do not intentionally disrupt presentations or interrupt attendees that are speaking or asking a question.

Be respectful of fellow attendees’ and presenters’/staff members’ time. Do not monopolize/dominate a presentation by asking multiple questions or offering continuous commentary on an issue specific only to you. Attendees are expected to equitably and effectively participate in the virtual event.

Celebrate responsibly.  Follow all applicable laws and rules of the venue when consuming alcohol, smoking, vaping or using other tobacco products.  Only consume these products where and when permitted.  Participants under the influence of any substance who behave in a way that negatively impacts others may be dismissed from the Event.

eBay is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment at its events.  Please report any concerns, harassing behavior, or suspicious activity to eBay staff, Venetian staff, or security personnel.

eBay reserves the right to refuse admittance or to remove any person from an eBay event at any time in its sole discretion.
